  14.    Welcome to an exciting game of strategy, WinFive (TM).  
  15.    No other game has simpler rules, yet only a handful of 
  16.    games, including chess, can match the challenges of 
  17.    WinFive (TM).

  19.    WinFive (TM) uses a proprietary WinEngine software 
  20.    that enables the computer to play this game so well 
  21.    that it makes it a challenging partner to even the most 
  22.    sophisticated players.  This software was designed by 
  23.    Dr.  Alexander Sidorenko, a leading Russian mathematician
  24.    who now works in the USA.

  41.    ORDERING AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  43.    If you own a shareware copy of WinFive you can register your copy 
  44.    and obtain a registration code for $7.00.  This   code will be either 
  45.    mailed to you on a postcard or e-mailed, depending on your request.  
  46.    Registration entitles you to receive future upgrades of WinFive.

  48.    Individual copies of WinFive (TM) on diskette can be ordered directly
  49.    from Winning Strategies Corporation.  Total cost including shipping 
  50.    and handling is $10.00 for US and Canadian addresses and $15.00 for 
  51.    overseas customers.

  53.    A registration code is generated for a given user name, so please 
  54.    specify a Registered User Name when ordering.  To obtain a registration 
  55.    code or a copy of WinFive, please send your payment together with your

  69.    SOFTWARE LICENSE

  71.    Shareware version users are granted a limited license to use 
  72.    WinFive (TM) on a 30-day trial basis for the purpose of determining
  73.    whether WinFive (TM) is suitable for their needs.  The use
  74.    of WinFive (TM), except for the initial 30-day trial,
  75.    requires registration.

  77.    A single user license permits a user to use WinFive (TM)
  78.    only on a single computer.  Licensed users may use the
  79.    program on different computers, as long as there is NO
  80.    POSSIBILITY of it being used at one location while it is
  81.    being used at another, or on a computer network by more than
  82.    one user at a time.

  84.    No one may modify or patch the WinFive (TM) executable files
  85.    in any way, including but not limited to decompiling,
  86.    disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program.

  88.    A limited license is granted to copy and distribute DEMO versions
  89.    of WinFive (TM) only for the trial use of others, subject to the above
  90.    limitations, and also the following:

  92.    1) WinFive (TM) and all of its release files must be copied
  93.    in unmodified form, complete with the file containing
  94.    this license information.

  96.    2) WinFive (TM) may not be distributed in conjunction with
  97.    any other product without a specific license to do so

  101.    LIMITED WARRANTY

  103.    Winning Strategies Corporation warrants that all disks provided are
  104.    free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming
  105.    normal use, for a period of 90 days from the date of
  106.    purchase.

  108.    Winning Strategies Corporation warrants that the program will perform
  109.    in substantial compliance with the documentation supplied
  110.    with the software product.  If a significant defect in
  111.    the product is found, the Purchaser may return the
  112.    product for a refund.  In no event will such a refund
  113.    exceed the purchase price of the product.

  115.    EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, WINNING STRATEGIES CORPORATION 
  116.    DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, 
  117.    INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF 
  118.    MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, 
  119.    WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT.  SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE 
  120.    DEFECTIVE, THE PURCHASER ASSUMES THE RISK OF PAYING THE 
  121.    ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION 
  122.    AND ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  IN NO EVENT
